The territory as hospitable system - the role of the bank to support the tourist sector

  • 14

November 2007
Chamber of Commerce - Treviso

The conference, organized by the UniCredit Local Committee Treviso-Venice-Padua, had the dual purpose of presenting the report, edited by prof. Ferruccio Bresolin and prof. Alessandro Minello (CEG -Interdepartmental Centre on Culture of the Economy and the Globalisation - University Ca 'Foscari, Venice) and deepen the constructive confrontation on these issues between representatives of different associations of enterprise operating along the chain, sector operators, managers of public and local opinion leaders, with the bank ready to ensure their contribution.

The event was an opportunity to reflect on the resource of hospitality - resulting from tourism, business or other reasons - as a patrimony to play within a broader vision not only of local realities. If the objective is to give space to the development of the territories, must be at once realistic and courageous: to recognize the potential effect of its area, but also to imagine paths of evolution of hospitality that can beat the way of originality as well as that of alliances

The works were introduced by: Enzo Pavan - Chairman of UniCredit Local Committe Treviso-Venezia-Padova; Federico Tessari - Chairman of Chamber of Commerce; Leonardo Muraro - Leading the Province of Treviso.

To follow the presentation of the report edited by: Ferruccio Bresolin and Alessandro Minello - CEG, Interdepartmental Centre on Culture of the Economy and the Globalisation - University Ca 'Foscari, Venice; Nadio Delai - Chairman of Ermeneia.

At the end, began the round table coordinated by Roberto Papetti - Director of Gazzettino with: Ennio Bianco - Chairman of Gruppo Terziario Innovativo, Unindustria Treviso; Fulvio Brunetta - Chairman of Coldiretti Treviso; Fabio Gava - District councillor of policies of development, research and innovation and institutional policies of Veneto; Claudio Rigo - Head of Direzione Regionale Triveneto Orientale, UniCredit Banca; Renato Salvadori - Chairman of ASCOM Confcommercio Treviso; Floriano Zambon - Vice Leading the Province of Treviso.
