Sharing Passions - The collection on display
UniCredit Private Banking inaugurates Sharing Passions in Torino: 11 UniCredit Private Banking affiliates from all over Italy will host works from the UniCredit Group's collection of contemporary art while the Private Banking headquarters will feature a selection of 4 important works from the HVB collection.
The initiative, curated by a special committee headed by Walter Guadagnini, is part of UniCredit & Art, a large-scale project dedicated to contemporary art which manifests itself in partnerships with important museums, the support of young creativity in all its diverse forms, and the building of an important collection of contemporary works.
With Sharing Passions, a selection from this collection will be installed in the UniCredit Private Banking branch offices, with the aim of creating a unitary narration that reveals to viewers the soul of the UniCredit Group, the ongoing dialogue between good old-fashioned values and new trends, the ability to acknowledge and embrace difference, the attention it gives to local cultures and territories, the faith it places in the nation's creative resources.
It is no accident that the initiative is being presented in Torino, a city that has given us some of the most excellent art of our time. Palazzo della Fortuna, Via Arsenale 21, seat of the Torino offices of UniCredit Private Banking, will be the site where the Italian artistic patrimony of the Group are displayed alongside some major works from the German bank of the HVB Group (Tinguely, Klein, Struth, Richter), a piece by the great Giulio Paolini, a retrospective of Mimmo Jodice (from the photography section of the collection) and, in the Palazzo Ceriana offices, a group show of young artists curated by Guido Curto.
