Furla Art Prize
2007 marks the sixth edition of this prestigious art award, organised and promoted by the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna and Furla Spa.
Starting this year, the prize has a new partner, UniCredit Group, which shares with the founders the aim of promoting young art.
On Tuesday, October 24, at the UniCredit headquarters of Palazzo Magnani in Bologna, the five finalists will be announced, selected by a preliminary jury made up of Chiara Bertola, Giulio Ciavoliello, Mario Codognato, Giacinto Di Pietrantonio, Walter Guadagnini, Gianfranco Maraniello and Jonathan Watkins, along with the name of the artist who will be commissioned to design the graphic programme for the 6th edition.
Among those present will be Aristide Canosani, Chairman of UniCredit Banca and Walter Guadagnini, chairman of the technical committee for the "UniCredit & Art" project.
