From October 25, 2006 to February 25, 2007, the second floor of the Castello di Rivoli will host "Sculpture By The Way", an exhibition dedicated to Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, realised with a contribution from the Fondazione CRT.

The show explores the last 20 years of the two artists' collaborative efforts, bringing together more than 200 works, including their projects for numerous large-scale public sculptures that have made Oldenburg and van Bruggen famous all over the world.

The exhibition layout begins with elements from the performance piece The Course of the Knife, presented in Venice in 1985, followed by other works including Houseball and Architectural Fragments of 1985 and Dr. Coltello Costume of 1986, as well as works for interiors, maquettes, drawings, works on paper, models, studies and sculptures in various materials.

Closing the show are two rooms dedicated to large-scale installations, such as From the Entropic Library, realised in 1989 for the exhibition "Magiciens de la Terre" in Paris.
