UniCredit triumphs at the Interactive Key Award 2006

Unicredit has been honoured with three awardsat this year's 7th Interactive Key Award, organised by the Media Key Group to award creativity and technological innovation in on-line communications.

The jury awarded the special Hall of Fame Award to the UniCredit Group "for having effectively communicated the corporate events that have brought the UniCredit Group to become a financial leader on the European financial stage.

For having been one of the first to adopt the .eu domain, which testifies to its recent European vocation. For having risen over the last few years up prestigious European rankings for quality in on-line communication in corporate web sites, in terms of both the wealth and accessibility of content. For having used promotional instruments that successfully highlight the commitment of the Unicredit Group to Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives."

First prize was awarded to UniNews, the Group's on-line magazine, in the Media Educational category, for information which is transparent and appreciative of the needs of all stakeholders, in keeping with commitments to Corporate Social Responsibility. UniNews is available in Italian, English, and in an "accessible" version for the blind and visually impaired.

First prize was awarded to Banca per la Casa, the Group bank specialised in loans and mortgages, in the E-Commerce, Service & Support Consumer-oriented category for B2B and B2C e-commerce sites only. The award was conferred for the quality of its web communications and the service levels provided via on-line means.

The award ceremony was held on 27 September at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
