Bank and Territory: business innovation via businesses
Business innovation via businesses, as a subject for discussion, arose within the context of UniCredit Local Committee, with the aim of supporting the development of economic reference areas. It was very much the result of a proposal, approved by the industrial sector, to relaunch expansion plans for local concerns and hence the territory. The convention, held in Palazzo Bonin Longare, involved all the Committess factors in achieving the competitive repositioning of Italian businesses.
After a brief statement by Massimo Calearo - President of the Industrial Association of the Province of Vicenza and President of Calearo Antenne Srl, discussions were introduced by Nadio Delai - President of Ermeneia. The first subject for discussion, "The Proposal", saw the participation of Enzo Pavan - President and Managing Director of Permasteelisa S.p.A., Alessandro Benetton - President of 21 Investimenti S.p.A., Marco Nicolai - General Director of Finlombarda S.p.A. and Enzo Rullani - Professor of Business Strategies at University Ca' Foscari in Venezia and President of Scientific Committee CUOA, all coordinated by Nadio Delai. This was followed by the Round Table, "The point of view of businesses and the bank", accompanied by Marco Panara - Business & Finance Editor of "La Repubblica". The same also included contributions by Mario Aramini - General Director of UniCredit Banca d'Impresa, Luigi Castelletti - President of Veronafiere, Mario Marangoni - President of Marangoni S.p.A., Federico Pacorini - Vicepresident and Managing Director of B.Pacorini S.p.A., Cinzia Palazzetti - President of Unione Industriali for the Province of Pordenone and Managing Director of Palazzetti S.p.A., Franco Stefani - President of System S.p.A. in addition Enzo Pavan, mentioned above. The convention was brought to a close by Alessandro Profumo - Managing Director of UniCredit.
