UniCredit Wins the Financial Statement Oscar 2005

First prize in the thirtieth edition of the 'Financial Statement Oscars' has been awarded to UniCredit, who took the 'Oscar' for the best financial statement overall.
UniCredit was also awarded first prize in the category of banking, financial and insurance enterprises. The prize jury, chaired by the chancellor of Milan's Bocconi University, Angelo Provasoli, judged UniCredit's balance to be "exemplary in terms of accounting transparency, readability and completeness of data".
Great praise was also given to the Group's Social and Environmental Report, which impressed the jury for the way it was structured: "in such a way as to immediately prompt the reader to reflect on the importance of this form of accounting".
