Considering the 'new normal' in which we find ourselves, Zagrebačka Banka has launched a campaign dedicated to supporting the tourism sector in Croatia

Through the #firsttime campaign Zaba will create the countries’ biggest online platform for the promotion of undiscovered wonders and unique experiences of Croatia, whilst also providing support to small and medium businesses in the tourism sector.

Anyone with an idea, project or product that enriches Croatia’s tourism can apply for a chance to win a free, comprehensive marketing campaign that will promote the story and ensure visibility among the wider public.

An expert jury will select the 15 best submissions, two of which will win a marketing campaign that includes a TV advertisement, while runners-up will be promoted via digital channels. All information about the unique destinations and experiences across Croatia can be found throughout the year at prviput.hr.

Zaba’s Chairman of the Management Board, Romeo Collina, commented:

“We are going through a very challenging year. Our entire economy has been affected, but particularly small businesses in tourism. At Zaba we recognise that today, more than ever, entrepreneurs need more than just financial support, but also in other areas such as marketing and digitalisation. That is precisely why we have launched the #firsttime project. Since the start of the year we have done many important socially responsible projects. #firsttime is another contribution to our community showing our commitment to being a part of the solution.”

The #firsttime project will be done in partnership with the Croatian National Tourist Board, which has pointed out the importance of projects like these for Croatian tourism, particularly in the off-season.
