UNICREDIT CHOIR SINGS WITH THE BAVARIAN STATE OPERA

The UniCredit Opera Choir was founded in 2019 for the 150th anniversary of HypoVereinsbank and consists of more than 100 employees from the Bank. Along with both the children’s and adult’s choir and the Bavarian State Opera, the group delighted the audience at last year’s UniCredit Festspiel-Nacht, an annual arts festival held in Munich, offering highlights from the worlds of opera, dance, song and literature.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the 2020 UniCredit Festspiel-Nacht could not take place as usual. Instead, employees from HypoVereinsbank decided to sing from their homes together with Daria Proszek, the Polish mezzo-soprano and singer in the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera, who performed alone from the Munich National Theatre. Individual voices were transformed into a virtual musical patchwork, in unison yet separate, as “One Team, One UniCredit.”
