Dina Matić from Zagrebacka Banka in Croatia shares her recipe for a multi-seed bread. This very healthy bread will provide you with lots of energy — and its very tasty too

Scrolling through our news feeds over the past few months, we saw our friends and acquaintances make bread and all kinds of sweets and delicacies for their families. Staying home has inspired the chef in many of us and encouraged us to try different recipes!



  • 300g cottage cheese 
  • 5 eggs 
  • 100g ground walnuts 
  • 50g flax seeds 
  • 50g chia seeds 
  • 5 tablespoons ground oats  
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds 
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds 
  • 2-3 tablespoons almonds 
  • 2-3 tablespoons hazelnuts 
  • 1 baking powder 
  • 1 teaspoon salt



  • Toast almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds  
  • Add other dry ingredients  
  • Mix eggs and cheese 
  • Add salt and baking powder  
  • Combine and pour the mixture into a tray  
  • Bake for around 30 minutes at 170 degrees 
  • Check if it’s done by inserting a knife/toothpick. If it comes out clean, the bread is done
