A temporary bank branch in a mobile container is helping clients affected by the devastating earthquake
This temporary mobile branch is located in a high-frequency and accessible location for all of Sisak’s residents. As colleagues from Sisak have been given a few days off, the branch will be managed and operated by a team of three Zaba colleagues from Zabok, Bedekovčina and Zagreb.
Commenting on these measures, Katarina Janžić, Branch Manager, pointed out: “The earthquake consequences have been felt in the entire area and by all the citizens of Sisak and its surroundings. Our branch was not damaged but we have decided to adopt this temporary solution for a few days as a precaution as it provides additional security to our clients and employees. I would like to thank the management of Zaba who have showed exceptional care and empathy for all the employees who live and work in the area. They have provided the help we needed both in our private life and in regular business."
Immediately after the earthquake, the bank has provided relief measures to help its clients. It also plans to offer more long-lasting support in the form of loan moratoria and other provisions.
Additionally, Zagrebačka banka has undertaken numerous activities to help employees and local communities. This includes mental health support programs for employees affected by the disaster.and a fundraising campaign for colleagues in the areas hit by the earthquake to provide donations to the Croatian Red Cross for food and to the association “Voice of Entrepreneurs” to buy containers.
