The Age of the New Visions is a digital forum organised by UniCredit in collaboration with Pitti Immagine, Camera della Moda, Altaroma and Nomisma. The third event was held in Rome and saw a presentation from Nomisma focused on how sustainability is reshaping the fashion industry, as it moves towards its fourth industrial revolution with a green perspective for the future.
The past year has undoubtedly led consumers to adopt more sustainable behaviours, raising attention to environmental issues. Responsible purchases are increasing highlighting that people prefer to wear long-lasting clothes that come from non-polluting and animal-friendly raw materials.
Green themes are also becoming an essential part of company's culture, encouraging the implementation of more socially sustainable strategies, local supply chains and low environmental impact manufacturing.
