UniCredit is firmly committed to promoting a working environment that embraces our core values of Ethics and Respect. We know that actions speak louder than words, and that all of us must act in a way that fosters inclusion and promotes collaboration. These were some of the topics that were discussed during the Diversity & Inclusion Week, which took place online this year.
During the five days we discussed inclusion-related matters and exchanged ideas. A total of 120 events were held across 15 countries, offering the chance to hear voices from around our Group, as well as listen to 270 external speakers, presenters, and guests.
More than 21,000 colleagues participated in 145 hours of workshops, coaching sessions and online discussions dedicated to D&I topics, making D&I week a real success.
Talking about the initiative, our CEO Jean Pierre Mustier re-affirmed UniCredit’s commitment to becoming the best employer in the banking industry, reminding us about the importance that all of us focus on Diversity and Inclusion: “Each and every one of us should decide on at least one action to improve inclusion here at UniCredit. We must all work on this actively, both during our D&I Week and during all the other 51 weeks of the year. This is part of our commitment to always: Do the right thing!”
