UniCredit's digital acceleration continues as the bank passes 300,000 followers on LinkedIn
Together with all our local channels, we now have almost 425,000 followers on LinkedIn. Our followers have grown 28 per cent in the past year, substantially higher than the average growth rate in the financial sector (16 per cent according to data provided by LinkedIn.) This reflects the effort across UniCredit to make LinkedIn an important channel in our marketing communication media mix.
We more than doubled the percentage of innovation stories (14 per cent of all our content vs. 5.5 per cent in 2019) and substantially increased posts related to client support (17 per cent vs vs. 11 per cent in 2019).
