This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #BreakTheBias. At UniCredit, each of us plays a critical role in implementing meaningful change so we can continue to empower our people, our clients, and our communities to progress.

To keep us moving forward, we are introducing the Group’s new Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Global Policy – created to reinforce inclusion throughout the entire organisation, aiming to ensure that our policies, procedures, and behaviours create an environment where individual differences are valued. We are also proud to introduce a new set of Inclusive Language, Inclusive Recruitment and Gender Transition Guidelines.

It is our responsibility to ensure all voices are heard – leveraging “diversity of thought", DE&I enables employees to unlock their full potential to best meet our stakeholders’ needs.

How can you leverage our new policy and guidelines moving forward?

·       Don’t assume anything

·       Watch your language

·       Kindly hold others accountable

·       Question yourself and others

·       Be open to listening

·       Listen, learn, act

·       Always ask for feedback

·       Encourage people to hold each other accountable

·       Monitor your own behaviour

·       Take a “zero tolerance approach” towards discrimination

·       #BreakTheBias!
