A fever is one of the common symptoms of Covid-19. So, starting Monday 18th May, UniCredit will carry out temperature checks at its premises

2:00 min

The health and well-being of employees and customers is UniCredit’s top priority. As previously outlined in the 10 Golden Rules, temperature checks will be done at our group premises. The checks will be carried out by our security personnel or stewards at the entrances of UniCredit buildings through non-contact thermometers.

Access will be granted only if the recorded temperature is below 37.5 degrees Celsius. Should a customer deny to undergo the temperature measurement, the  security personnel or stewards will prevent access to our premises. No personal data will be collected or stored.

Temperature checks are part of the important safety and prevention measures put in place by the bank. These also include the use of hand-sanitisers and face masks. Protective plexiglass panels have been installed in the cash desk areas and the number of customers allowed in a branch at the same time will be limited. Strict physical distancing rules will apply at all times.

Remember: please stay home if you have a fever or feel ill. All of the bank’s services are available remotely via UniCredit call centres and via internet or mobile banking.

We will continue to actively monitor the situation and always Do the Right Thing!
