New UniCredit Easy Commerce tool offers B2C e-commerce solutions for Italian SMEs and micro companies

UniCredit and Google Italia have partnered up to boost B2C e-commerce for Italian companies looking for a quick access to digital markets. The country’s online sales market still has room to grow, as only 30% of Italian companies have an e-commerce website and just 10% currently sell online.

The UniCredit Easy Commerce tool, available from today, provides Italian micro, small and medium-sized companies with a quick and easy way to get a customised “plug and play” e-commerce site. The tool aims to help them increase their visibility and sell products online to customers throughout Italy and Europe.

Italian companies that sign-up for a UniCredit Easy Commerce contract will receive a new “turnkey” e-commerce website in under seven days, tailored to the needs of the company and its sector. Companies will also benefit from access to Google services to promote their business online. A team specialised in the use of Google platforms will help businesses increase the visibility of their e-commerce site and take advantage of new business opportunities using the Google Ads, Google My Business and Google Analytics platforms.

Andrea Casini and Remo Taricani, Co-CEOs Commercial Banking Italy at UniCredit, said: “E-commerce in Italy is growing at 15% a year and has become a key driver of the economic recovery. Thanks to our new partnership with Google and our existing partnership with Alibaba.com, UniCredit now offers a range of services for Italian SMEs and traders who want to develop their B2C and B2B sales channels. UniCredit Easy Commerce is an opportunity for Italian businesses to grow their digital sales channels across Italy and Europe.”
