UNICREDIT SUPPORTS INNOVATION AT WIRED NEXT FEST
Wednesday 08 July 2020
The largest Italian event on innovation will discuss how to restart Italy and overcome the challenges caused by the pandemic
Wired Next Fest is a series of six digital events and a big final event, scheduled for 10 and 11 October in Milan, during which experts and national and international opinion leaders discuss how science, business, technology, research and innovation play a role in the response to the current challenges and can support Italy’s future economic development.
In line with the UniCredit per l’Italia Campaign (UniCredit for Italy), the bank is the main partner of the event. Investing in sustainability, innovation and digitalisation is a key response to the need for change and to support local communities with concrete actions.
The third event, taking place on 9th July, is dedicated to Open Innovation. Claudia Vassena, Head of Digital Channels at UniCredit, will hold a live streaming session at 16.35 to talk about open innovation and open banking. She will also reflect on the importance of innovation in responding to the Covid emergency and restarting economic activity.
UniCredit is committed to developing and providing products and services that meet client needs. It has significantly strengthened its digital offering, also thanks to the bank’s collaborations with other players in the digital ecosystem. An example of the bank’s Open Innovation projects include UniCredit StartLab, an acceleration programme for start-ups.
