The Age of the New Visions is a digital forum organised by UniCredit in collaboration with Pitti Immagine, Camera della Moda, Altaroma and Nomisma. The second event was held in Milan and saw a presentation from Nomisma focused on how fashion companies are approaching digitisation.
A radical evolution in the fashion industry is underway thanks to online purchasing channels, such as e-commerce, marketplaces and social networks. New doors are being opened thanks to digital connections, like virtual showrooms for brands, buyers and retailers, all resulting in more agile models that are helping companies to overcome the crisis more quickly.
From the production cycle to the supply chain, and from corporate positioning to production models, the fashion industry has certainly stepped on the gas to generate high hopes for its future recovery.
