UniCredit has received the National Innovation Award ‘Premio dei Premi 2020’ (‘Award of awards’), presented by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, with the support of Minister for Technological Innovation and Digitisation Paola Pisano and Minister for Public Administration Fabiana Dadone.

The ‘Award of awards’ recognises companies, public institutions and design professionals, identified among the annual winners of the innovation prizes conferred by Italy’s main business associations: last June, in fact, UniCredit had already won the ABI Award for Innovation in Banking Services 2020.

On this occasion, our bank was awarded for its Dynamic Discounting service, developed in collaboration with the Italian fintech FinDynamic.

Dynamic Discounting offers companies a range of financial support solutions for the benefit of their respective supply chains. It also provides relief in potential cases of financial tension for suppliers living a difficult economic situation linked to the pandemic.

Pietro Campagna, Co-Head Global Transaction Banking, commented: “It was an honour to represent UniCredit at the virtual awards ceremony of the 2020 Premio dei Premi. A great recognition for our people and for our role as ‘Part of the solution’ in this particularly difficult context.”

From this month, following the positive response received from UniCredit corporate clients, the bank has decided to extend its collaboration with FinDynamic to UniCredit Factoring’s corporate clients, in order to expand the range of solutions even further, allowing businesses to optimise working capital.
