Meet Ivan Glasnović

Lead Communication Solutions Specialist, Zagrebačka banka, Croatia
 

I’m Ivan, Lead Communication Solutions Specialist in the Marketing team at Zagrebačka banka. My main focus is creating marketing materials for both digital and print, making sure everything we produce reflects the UniCredit brand.

 

What I enjoy most is the creative process – shaping ideas into impactful campaigns and visual content. I’ve always been passionate about design, and this role allows me to combine creativity with strategy, while constantly learning and improving.

 

Recently, I completed a six-month specialisation in Digital Marketing & Branding at VERN’ University in Zagreb. One of the highlights was getting involved in media production for Zaba’s new podcast – a completely new area for me, and a great chance to grow both creatively and technically. Nevertheless, the trust and support of my team made a real difference.

 

One of my favourite moments was working on a major multimedia campaign for Zaba Mastercard debit cards – still ongoing across our branches and digital channels. Being recognised for that work by my managers really motivated me to take on more responsibility.

 

What makes UniCredit stand out for me is the collaborative environment, international outlook and flexibility – like being able to work from home, and joining projects based on your skills and capabilities. I’ve also had the chance to join cross-country initiatives, like our learning format "More2Know in CE&EE". This was an amazing opportunity for growth and enriching my international network.  

 

After work, I unwind with nature walks, travel planning, or spending time with my girlfriend, family and friends.

Meet Cristina Rastelli

Deputy Sales Director, Centre-North Italy
 

My name is Cristina and since July 2024, I’ve been Deputy Sales Director at the Ancona-Torrette Headquarters, part of Marche region. In this role, I support the Head of Retail Sales of our area in achieving our commercial objectives, coordinating branches and counters, and helping colleagues grow through coaching and team development.

 

I joined UniCredit from another bank, thanks to a recommendation from a colleague. From the start, I was impressed by how structured and people-focused the environment was. The role I’ve taken on suits me perfectly – I’m someone who values teamwork, thrives on new challenges, and enjoys helping others succeed.

 

One of the aspects I appreciate most is how UniCredit supports work-life balance. As a mother of two teenagers and a working student, I was assigned to a location just ten minutes from home. That consideration has had a real impact on my ability to manage personal and professional responsibilities effectively.

 

A standout moment for me was attending a plenary session at Palazzo Magnani in Bologna, where I had the chance to meet our Group CEO, Andrea Orcel and discuss about the future of digital growth – an inspiring exchange that sparked my decision to focus on digitisation for my university thesis.

 

Since joining, I’ve strengthened my organisational skills, deepened my commercial expertise, and found a real sense of purpose. Every day brings new challenges, and I love the energy that comes with leading people and driving progress.

 

Outside of work, I stay active with padel, beach tennis, spinning and running – sport is my way to recharge, both physically and mentally.
