UniCredit Foundation has supported and promoted the Association's activities since 2012

Founded in 1993 to promote training and scientific research in the field of economic and financial studies, the Marco Fanno Association, economically and organizationally supported by the UniCredit Foundation since 2012, has appointed the new Board of Directors.

Tito Boeri and Carmine Di Noia were appointed respectively President and Vice President of the Association, and Raffaella Sadun, Alessandra Voena and Tommaso Frattini as councilors. The same Assembly then appointed Giorgio Loli as Auditor and confirmed Giannantonio De Roni and Annalisa Aleati respectively Secretary General and Scientific Director of the Association.

Established to start a program of specialization scholarships in economics and finance to study at the most prestigious foreign universities, the Marco Fanno Scholarship Association annually launches calls for the "Marco Fanno" and "Alberto Giovannini" Scholarships, for "Franco Modigliani" research awards, for the "Marco Fanno Fellowship", grants for the return of brains for Italian public universities and for numerous other initiatives aimed at the best students and researchers in the economic and financial field, including conferences, workshops and Alumni meetings .

On 18 July 2012, the Marco Fanno Association signed a collaboration agreement with UniCredit & Universities (now UniCredit Foundation), thanks to which UniCredit has ensured continuity over time to the Association's activities, continuing the long tradition of supporting the best students, through the provision of scholarships dedicated to the distinguished economist.
