Max Hohenberg started his career in 1993 as a Project Manager for PKM GmbH leading economic development and humanitarian aid initiatives in the Balkans and Caucasus regions.

From 1996 to 2002, he was Equity Capital Markets Associate at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in London, working on the execution of international equity offerings with specific responsibility for German-speaking markets.

In 2002 Max joined CNC Communication & Network Consulting, a leading international communications consultancy headquartered in Munich. In 2012 he was appointed Partner with overall responsibility for the implantation of political and corporate communication strategies for both nations and large institutions.

He gained extensive advisory experience in political communications, corporate communications, IR and crisis communication management.

Max is an Austrian national who in addition to German, speaks fluent English, Italian and French. He holds a Master's Degree from the London School of Economics.

Max joined UniCredit in May 2018 as Head of Group Identity & Communication and participates in the Group Executive Management Committee.
