Connectivity

Connectivity is the ability to connect and integrate company's capitals, material topics for stakeholders, strategic pillars and business model: highlighting connectivity helps to clarify the combination, the relationships and dependencies among the factors that affect our ability to create long-term value strengthening our strategic commitments. Our initiatives use different capitals and produce tangible and long lasting results both in terms of revenue-ouput, as in terms of impacts on capitals, such as the contribution to the competitiveness of the economy and territories.

For this reason, we have introduced in our Integrated Report a focus on connectivity, analyzing more in detail how we create long term value by investing in and using capitals.

TRANSFORM OUR OPERATING MODEL IN ITALY

In 2013, UniCredit launched a major turnaround program in Italy where the Group has more than 7 million retail customers. This program encompasses a significant review of our distribution and service model. Its purpose is to enhance customer experiences and nurture the kind of innovation that not only creates value for our customers but also optimizes our cost to serve.
