UniCredit Group, together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Financial Times, is promoting an essay competition open to all the young people who were born in 1989 in the former Communist countries. Candidates are invited to express their reflections and impressions about the dramatic events that happened that year in Europe and changed the course of history.
Deadline for submissions is 31st December 2009. An Awards ceremony will take place in London in Spring 2010.
