UniCredit Foundation

UniCredit Foundation

UniCredit Foundation is the non-profit corporate foundation created in March 2003 by UniCredit Group as further testimony of Group’s engagement in the promotion of a complex set of principles which are the basis of its corporate identity.

Foundation is funded solely by UniCredit Group and is a separate legal entity. The Foundation originates, manages and monitors in partnership with local NGOs development projects in countries where UniCredit Group is present (22 countries) and in areas where UniCredit Group has no commercial interests, in particular in Sub-Saharan Africa.

UniCredit Foundation is engaged in promoting the culture of a modern corporate philanthropy, as well as of civil commitment, donation and voluntary work. The Foundation offers itself as a bridge between the UniCredit Group employees, who are interested and willing to direct their energy and skills toward personal social engagement , and the needs of the target communities.

UniCredit Foundation is also interested in deepening the theme of social economy, with a particular focus on the meaning of business philanthropy and, more in general, on the relationship between for profit and non-profit.
