Service innovation


UniCredit’s service innovation strategy is founded on key principles of business sustainability.

 

Our commitment to creating value for our customers and stakeholders is expressed through our network, our specialized knowledge, our optimized retail banking channels, and our focus on niche and socially marginalized customers. We believe that aligning our interests with those of our customers generates value.  To this end, UniCredit’s different product committees have played an important role in defining our products and services.

 

These committees help ensure that all products, services and initiatives are in full compliance with regulatory standards, internal and external requirements, and the timing of key business functions. Based on their evaluations, the committees issue their final opinions on the sustainability of suppliers and of financial investments and insurance products to be offered to customers, as well as of to all marketing-related initiatives.

 

The committees base their opinions on their assessments of whether the products or services in question will:

  • satisfy customers’ needs
  • meet customers’ expectations
  • satisfactorily replace other products that meet the same needs

 

Although currently these product committees are primarily active in Italy, we plan to extend this system to all UniCredit countries.
