This is a document recommended by the EMAS – Environmental Management and Audit Scheme Regulation 1221/2009/CE, with the purpose of providing information on environmental impact and performance of the organization. The document contains all information regarding the organization and its environmental management methodology, together with performance monitoring and environmental improvement programmes.
The Environmental Statement is redrafted in full every three years, timed to coincide with the three-year registration renewal procedures, while updates are published annually.
UniCredit has been registered with EMAS since 2002, and in 2005 published its second full Environmental Statement, verified by Certiquality and approved by the Ecolabel and Ecoaudit Committee.
