Citizenship

AIRC

AIRC

UniCredit Group’s partnership with the AIRC began in 2000 with the provision of 60 three-year study grants for young cancer researchers.

In 2004, the Group embarked on a five years project to develop four oncogenomics platforms; thanks to the funds donated in past years, the Unicredit Group has been able to support the entire five-year set up and research cycle of the AIRC Oncogenomics Platforms.

This year UniCredit Group is committed to providing its support, over the next three years, to a new project – the Unicredit Team of Researchers – comprising 11 young scientists chosen via a special competition from among those who already have significant experience in Italy and abroad, and present an innovative independent project to be carried out at an institution of excellence.
