Executive Management CommitteeThe “Executive Management Committee” (“EMC”) supports the CEO in the strategic decision making process for the group, discussing issues having strategic importance identified by the CEO himself.
The focus of the EMC meeting is mainly on the group performance management, the group key projects (as reorganization projects that involve all or relevant part of the group) and other main managerial issues.
The EMC is chaired by the CEO and its members are appointed by the Board of Directors. Federico Ghizzoni

Head of CIB Division
Was born in Chamalieres, France, on 18th January 1961. He graduated from the French École Polytechnique and École des Mines de Paris. On 14th March 2011 he joined UniCredit as Deputy General Manager in charge of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division. He is member of the UniCredit Executive Management Committee. General Counsel & Group Compliance Officer
Nadine Faruque completed her legal studies at the University of Berne (“Fuersprecher”) and holds an L.L.M. Degree from Duke University School of Law (North Carolina, USA). In October 2008 she joined UniCredit group as General Counsel and group Compliance Officer. Karl Guha

Chief Financial Officer
Marina Natale was born in Saronno (Italy) on May 13, 1962. She holds a degree in Business Economics from the Cattolica University of Milan. She started her career in the Research and Planning department of UniCredit group (then Credito Italiano) in January 1988. Since May 2009 she has been Chief Financial Officer and Manager charged with preparing company’s financial reports. Paolo Cornetta
Group Head of HR
Paolo Cornetta was born in Milan on 10 January 1961. He has a degree in Law, has obtained a Master in Business Administration at Università Bocconi in Milan and has developed long professional experience in the Human Resources sector. After having been the New Europe HR director and, subsequently, the Head of Executive Development & Compensation, he has held the office as Head of HR Family & SME since July 2009 and has recently held the office as HR Italy Director.
