Economia italiana

Economia Italiana

“Economia Italiana” was founded in 1979 to complement its sister publication, the “Review”, founded in 1947, and not replace it. From its foundation the journal was edited by economist Mario Arcelli (1935-2004).
The goal of the journal was to explore the structural conditions of the Italian economy, in the light of changes in the international economy in the 1970s, from the various oil crises to the European Monetary System, and also the subsequent need to tackle the economic reforms necessary in Italy.

Supported by a prestigious academic committee, the journal’s editorial thrust deals with major topics in each issue, which is organised into sections: “Discussion topics”, “Studies and research”, “Sector studies” and “Interviews, debate and comment”, “Review of economic & financial provisions” and “Review of economic literature” (these are translations of the section names in Italian).
The journal is distributed in Italy free of charge, with a circulation of over 4000 copies.
