UniCredit Leadership Competency Model is the pillar of all UniCredit Development Processes, connecting Business Strategy and People Strategy.

 

The Leadership Competency Model is critical to the success of our group, and crucial to our long-term growth and sustainability.

What I do is what I am”, this is the deep sense of our Leadership Competency Model: the way we behave shows the way we are, the main ingredient “making the difference” within UniCredit.


It is structured into three main areas “Corporate Culture”, “Leadership” and “External / Market focus”, where the behaviors and competencies are grouped.
By connecting these areas with the words in our Mission such as “generating value for our customers”, “a leading European bank “ or “we aim for excellence”, it is clear the way these two pillars are intertwined.

 

 

Executive Development Plan (EDP) and Talent Management Review (TMR)

 

The Executive Development Plan and Talent Management Review are annual performance management processes based on the UniCredit Leadership Competency Model.

 

The participation criteria to the EDP process is to hold a senior managerial position in the group. The participation criteria to the TMR process is to have a consolidated professional experience and outstanding levels of performance and potential (below executive level)

 

They aim at fostering the professional growth of our Executives and Talents and at building a stronger Leadership Pipeline for UniCredit.
