UniCredit Group won again five of the prestigious Best Trade Finance Provider 2010 in CEE region, Austria, Poland and for the first time in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

The internationally renowned magazine Global Finance has announced the winners of the "Best Treasury" and "Cash Management Provider" Awards 2010. For the first time UniCredit Group has won the award as "Best Overall Bank for Cash Management 2010 in CEE" against strong competition from other banks.
UniCredit Group has not only achieved this award but has been recognized for the first time as "Best Bank for Liquidity Management in CEE". Moreover the Group could defend its position as "Best Bank in Payments & Collections in CEE". This underlines again the strong position of UniCredit Group which has been ranked last year as the 4th most preferred Cash Management House worldwide by the Euromoney magazine.
The awards were selected by the editors of Global Finance with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts. The European Lessor of the Year was awarded to UniCredit Leasing for its overall business activity. It is the most important and prestigious award for the entire leasing industry in Europe. The company received recognition due to its comprehensive performance during the past twelve months.
The General Manager of UniCredit Leasing, Mr. Luca Lorenzi was honoured with the title of Functional Leader of the Year. The panel of selected judges, made up of leasing experts, vendors and industry consultants, appreciated his “key man” position in UniCredit Leasing. He is responsible for the commercial and operative coordination of the entire UniCredit Leasing network, in charge of effectively coordinating activities in 17 different countries. According to the most recent survey of Leaseurope, the European Federation of National Leasing Associations, UniCredit Leasing has been confirmed also for 2008 the number one in the European Leasing industry. The leading position has been awarded in terms of total new business volume (EUR 12,7 billion) and total stock of leased assets of over EUR 38 billion.

UniCredit Tiriac Bank was just presented with two awards during the “People for People Gala”, a unique event which recognizes and rewards Corporate Social Responsibility & Citizenship in Romania.
UniCredit Tiriac Bank was awarded as "The company with the highest impact contribution towards the community” for Cicloteque, the project launched on the 31st July 2008 which aim is to support people in using bicycles for both health and recreation, as an alternative transport method, in order to contribute to the decrease of heavy traffic and pollution in Bucharest.
Further on, UniCredit Tiriac Bank received the “Best communication for CSR projects” award, presented by the Press Jury.
