The internationally renowned magazine Global Finance has announced the winners of the "Best Treasury" and "Cash Management Provider" Awards 2010. For the first time UniCredit Group has won the award as "Best Overall Bank for Cash Management 2010 in CEE" against strong competition from other banks.
UniCredit Group has not only achieved this award but has been recognized for the first time as "Best Bank for Liquidity Management in CEE". Moreover the Group could defend its position as "Best Bank in Payments & Collections in CEE". UniCredit Tiriac Bank was just presented with two awards during the “People for People Gala”, a unique event which recognizes and rewards Corporate Social Responsibility & Citizenship in Romania.
UniCredit Tiriac Bank was awarded as "The company with the highest impact contribution towards the community” for Cicloteque, the project launched on the 31st July 2008 which aim is to support people in using bicycles for both health and recreation, as an alternative transport method, in order to contribute to the decrease of heavy traffic and pollution in Bucharest.
