Head of Human Resources
Rino Piazzolla was born in Milan on 5 March 1953. He studied Philosophy at Università Statale in Milano.
He started his career in S.C. Johnson Wax Italy in 1981 where from positions in Sales/Marketing he went into H.R. In 1989 he moved to the European HQ in London where he was responsible for H.R. in the Region.
In 1993 he joined Pepsico as H.R. Director Global HQ in Somers, NY USA. Then in 1996 he moved back to London as H.R. Director Europe & Africa.
In 1997 Piazzolla joined GE Human Resources for the Oil & Gas Division based in Firenze. In 1999 he moved back to the U.S. where he held positions as Global Human Resources Corporate Vice President in Business like GE Plastics and GE Infrastructure.
He joined UniCredit in July 2005.
