 Head of Internal AuditRanieri de Marchis was born in Livorno on 8th January 1961.
Graduated with honors in Economics from LUISS University of Rome and has a Master Business Administration from INSEAD - Fontainbleau.
He began his career as a financial Analyst in ITALCABLE in Rome, after that, he moved to Procter & Gamble in Frankfurt in 1988.
In 1990, he joined General Electric Group in the Corporate Audit Staff where He has the Executive Audit Manager for the Europe Area. In 1995 he was promoted to Head of Finance and Commercial Development for Power Systems Europe and Nuovo Pignone SpA.
From 1997 to 2003, he served as General Manager in Nuovo Pignone and was named Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for the business Oil & Gas. He was Chairman of the European Finance Council of General Electric.
In May 2003 he joined UniCredit as Chief Financial Officer, receiving in 2007 the Group title of Senior Executive Vice President.
In May 2009 he was appointed and Head of Internal Audit Department.
