Karl Guha was born in 1964.

He started his career in ABN in 1989 after completing his studies in Economics and Management Sciences in Boston.

During his twenty odd years at ABN, he has served in various capacities in Structured Products, Cross Border Risk Trading, Risk Management and Group Treasury.
In terms of locations, he has worked in the US, UK, Australia, the Netherlands and in Italy.

He joined UniCredit Group as Chief Risk Officer on January 1st, 2009. He is a member of the Executive Management Committee and in that capacity reports directly to the CEO.

He is a Dutch national and he speaks Dutch, English, Hindi and a bit of Italian.
