Business model

We have adopted a divisional business model that makes us both flexible and strong.

This business model is based on a network that operates in multiple markets through our deeply rooted local banks.

The Network benefits from Centralized Product Factories, which supply them with top-notch financial products at competitive prices. Global Service Factories, in turn, support the entire Group and maximize our cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

This organizational structure enables us to optimally allocate resources, leverage our significant in-house expertise in all aspects of the banking industry and leverage an unparalleled branch network that connects us to thousands of local communities and millions of customers.

As a result, we are able to generate value in all of our businesses and capitalize on growth opportunities as they occur.

This business model is based upon four pillars:

Customer centricity

Is the focus of our Retail, Corporate Banking and Private Banking areas, which are charged with delivering specialized customer coverage to maximize long-term value and customer satisfaction.

Multi-local approach

That empowers the Group’s local banks to oversee our distribution networks and customer relationships.

Global product lines

Are the value-added centers for all regions that leverage the Group’s significant in-house expertise, such as Asset Management.

Global services lines

That supply our network coverage functions and product factories with specialized services, including Banking Back Office, ICT, Credit Collection, Procurement Services, Real Estate and Shared Service Centers.
